the scanner my department uses at school really sucks. does anyone have any tips on how to make scanner shadows, lines, etc. go away without re-drawing the image?

You talk about scrapping a lot of your stuff. I resent that. You're so much better in many of the pictures. Keep them. Unless, of course, your scraps get viewed more. -scoff-
